Since antiquity, artists have been sculpting muscular and expressive figures and a focus on the torso offers a close-up study of the core of the figure. In this class, we will learn to sculpt the torso with a focus on anatomy, musculature, expression and proportion.

About the Classes

We will work in an oil-based clay on a fixed armature, while studying from a live model. Beginner and intermediate. No experience necessary. Small class size.

Bring a sketch pad and pencil for the first class!

*All students must be 18+ because we work with nude models. Teen students who are serious about art are welcome with written permission from a parent or guardian.
